I have been taking 40mg of predesone since the begining of December. My Doc cut me down to 30mg starting this Monday. I have a appointment this coming Monday and I hope to be off of this medicine in about 1 month? He tells me I will be on the Asacol for the rest of my life but I am taking 4 tablets 3 times a day. Does anyone take less of the Asacol? I am feeling alot better as of late, but not even close to normal, any suggestions are appreciated. I read this topic daily and appreciate everyones response. I hope you all are getting info from this page and also hope it helps because you all are helping me. Thank you Joe D.
