I had the same problem only my pain was in the middle of my back between my shoulder blades. It took my breath away. The Dr. checked me for everything but gall bladder. His nurse mentioned to me that it might be my gall bladder and I insisted on a test for that. Well, needless to say, it was my gall bladder. The Dr said I had thousands of small gallstones. It was removed and I feel like a new person!! Please insist on a test for gallstones and good luck!
