I have a herniated disk, and im thinking about having surgery, but my doctor told me that if I did have surgery that the time of recovery is up to me, and that he will not give me limitations on what I can do. You do what you can do, don't sit around. HE said that people who sit around after surgery, take longer to recover than people who don't sit around.
