I noticed a crusting on my nipple and while in the Doctor's office I memtioned it to him - he wanted me to go to a surgeron and I asked to go to a plastic surgeron - I saw the plastic surgeron and he told me that it looked like paget's diease and order a sonogram and a ductogram - both came back negative - then he did a biospy and it came back positive - I was referred to a surgeron and was told that I had 2 options - one was to remove part of the breast that had paget's and the second was to remove the entire breast - I opted for removal of the entire breast - I have not been able to find much information on paget's diease - I see my oncologist every 3 months and am told that I am cancer free - but I worry that it will come back - what has your doctor told you about the diease???
