Jill.........I'm surprised at the doctor's response to your pain and disk protrusion. I've had 4 herniated disks and tho I've tried therapy, injections, pain management therapy......my neurosurgeon has recommended surgery if all else failed. Have you tried a neurosurgeon? Ask around and stick with a well-recommended one. God bless you because I currently only have one herniated disk problem and the pain is tremendous. I know what you're going thru.
