I'm a 23 yr old man. I also had a Spontaneous Pneumothorax (left lung) after jogging. I was hospitalized, had an x-ray which revealed that I had air in my chest. A blunt dissection on the chest wall was performed until a good gush of air was obtained. I was released 2 weeks after. I had the same problem 4 months after i was released but this time it was my right lung. My doctor told me the pneumothorax was cause by the rupture of an air-containing blister (bleb) on the surface of the lung. He preformed surgery removing these blebs. This was 3 years ago, I havent had any more problems since then. Hope this is helpful.
