I was recently in the ER for what I thought was a heart attack. It ended up being GERD. My doc put me on 20mg of Prilosec didnt work. So they upped the dose to 40mg. Still no relief. Im wondering if I could possibly have a hiatle hernia. My stomach does not bother me really. Its my throat it always has this really bad acidy taste in it. It never stops no matter what I do. I eat right, dont smoke or drink and Im not over weight. Im really desperate here. Does anyone have any suggestions. I would appreiate any feed back. Thanks
