I echo your message... I have had 3 blood clots and 2 have gone into my lungs as pulmonary emboli... so now I have a vena cava filter and am on blood thinners for life... checked no less than once per month, often up to once a week... have to take special precautions for travel, and also for medical procedures... usually am put on injected blood thinners before and after any procedure that requires stoppage of the blood thinners... also cannot sit for prolonged periods of time... have to get up and walk and keep feet elevated as much as possible... If you think you have a clot, or a pain in your leg, get it checked out IMMEDIATELY. It is nothing to be trifled with... I have been hospitalized each of the three times... and am now on oxygen as a result of damage done... don't mess with them, they can kill.
