My suggestion would be to go to a dermatologist and tell them about the cyst. I know there are several medicines that they can prescribe to help with the acne...but if there is an underlying problem you may want to take care of that first. I've had cysts on my ovaries for almost 10 years now..and do have a problem with cystic acne...they are now treating the cyst on my ovaries and have put me on birth control pills to help with the acne. Ask your physician they should be able to find out what is best for your case.
