I have had Fibromyalgia for some years and it was covering up the fact that I also had Hepatitis C, it became impossible on some days to get out of bed and some nights there was no sleep either. Testing for LYME disease is what helped the doctors discover I also had Hepatitis C. Tests results for the amount of damage are not reliable I found...my symptoms sent out a warning that damage was in fact taking place. When the pain in my right rib cage became unbearable I sought out an infection specialist. From this point a liver biopsy is necessary before the treatments can begin. Interferon is the treatment and great success can be achieved. Don't ignore the symptoms! I never experienced yellowing of the eyes or skin.
