Marcia, I'm sorry that no one's responded to your plea for information. I too am having a colonoscopy done on 10/24 and will probably be very nervous. I've opted not to get mildly sedated as I don't believe in becoming semi-contious at any time in my life. I don't know if you've already had yours, but I could sure use some feedback on your experience during the procedure. That would be very useful to me. If you are having yours done after mine, I'll be happy to share my experience with you. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be glad you had it done. My boyfriend died of colon cancer cuz he didn't take such tests when he should've. So be brave, and hang in there. I'll try to do the same.
