Judy, You truly have my sympathy. I, too, have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, although my pain is most severe when sitting. I have read and researched as much as I can on this condition and if I don't get any real relief soon, I will probably opt for microdisktectomy (sp). It is so less invasive than it once was, and I've only been experiencing this pain for close to a year. I have had several epidural injections with only initial relief. I don't think our cases are comparable, but I simply wanted to assure you that the constancy of the affliction truly affects your overall being and you're not alone in your dilemma.
