What is Factor 5 L? My clot was 13 years ago and I guess things have changed a lot since than. I'm new to this thing and never had anyone to talk to about my dvt. I took cumadin for over 2 years and stopped because I had to have my teeth worked on. My best friend went to E.R. tonight to test for clots to her leg and this has really brought me back to reality. I am severly overweight, smoke occasionally and still have significant trouble with my bad leg. After reading up on the net tonight I never realized there were so many with the problem. Actually, I think the 'after affects' never go away, at least not for me. I still suffer. Talk to me.
