Hi Jennifer and all that have written. Well here is my update on my condition. It will be a year in July 2001 since all this came about. I am still taking coumidin..possible lifetime treatment...I have to wear those TED stockings as this really seems to help me alot....have pain in legs at various times from a tender slight pain to some days an extreme one...my last doctor appointment showed I now have PLEBITIS in my leg. Something else to deal with that all ties into this clot problem. I still cant bend down on my knees like I use to or do some other activities. Rollerblading is a no no doctor told me for fear that I might fall and trigger another eposide, but I guess its a small price to pay. Still worry about a huge clot coming back....but just happy to be back to work and walking. I take it day by day and hope for the best....thats all I can say. Keep smiling and please all have faith as life is so precious. I wish you all well in your recoveries. I guess this will be a lifetime thing for me from what I have been told. Still interested in hearing if anyone has tried flying on a plane, taking a long flight....I want to travel but am scared to do it.
