I started out at work (nurse) with what I thought was chapped lips or a cold sore, my lips were burning and red and started to become inflammed. The next five times I went to work it became much worse, spreading all over my face, neck, hands, totally disfiquring my face with the swelling so that my eyes were swollen shut, I have not returned to work in 10 weeks, and they believe I have a systemic allergic reaction to latex. Be careful because mine started out as red swollen lips but each time I was exposed after that it became much more serious.
