My daughter has been afflicted w/TM,but she was paralyzed from the waist down & little by little feeling has come back. She is still technically paralyzed but is able to walk w/the aid of braces & crutches.She initally had a massive dose of steriods to bring the inflammation down. Was on pain medication for over 1 yr. & plenty of PT. She has regained about 90-95% .She still has numb spots from her waist to her toes.She does tire easily but walks alot in school,she is trying to lead a normal life of a 16yr.old. She became sick at age 14. I'm not sure if I answered any questions for you,but hope I helped alittle.
