Lisa, I had 4 stomach ulcers. They are cured now. The symptoms of mine were that I felt a pain in the middle of the night, which is the time most stomach acid is produced, in my stomach. I'd drink water or eat something at 2:00 in the morning and the pain would subside. Go to a "gastro" specialist. He/She will try to determine your problem, then may request that you get a endoscopy, a tube that goes down the throat and into the stomach. The doctor can view the stomach to see any ulcers. If you have a burning in your stomach, it may be an ulcer. Get it checked out with a stomach specialist. Good luck.
