Hi! I was going thru the health information to see if there might be someone else besides myself that has Scholisis,and you had stated in your message on the message board, that you had or have a herrington rod in ur back??? Correct me, please if I read that wrong.. I was born with sevre scholiosis, and had to have a herrington rod put in my back too.. and then when I was like 13 or so years old the drs took mine out, I guess from what I can gather from what my parents have told me was the rod was making my back hurt really bad.. But there I never grew being I had this since birth..Now adays it alot better tech, I mean I met a girl that had the same surgery I did, and she had 2 herrington rods in her back... Never really know I guess.. Keep in touch if you would like too....
