After reading your letter on the health email post I was compelled to write. I too, have exactly the same story to tell. One year ago I herniated two discs in my back. I had surgery 6 mo. later. I had very high hopes that this would solve my problem. WRONG!!!! I am much worse. I have unexplained pain. I suffer from extreme back pain everyday. I see a pain specialist who has ran every test possible to try and solve this mystery without any luck. I get injections on a regular basis to try and control the pain with little relief. I have a medice cabinet full of prescription drugs to try and help. All of this has led to some depression. My whole lifestyle has changed because of dealing with pain. Hang in there is all they ever say. I am trying, but at times it is very hard. I just hope that one day they will find something that will work. In the mean time I will just continue to "hang in there."
