There are so many people with this virus, A lot of people dont even know they have it. When I was pregnant I found that I had one, the doc said I probably got it from my husband who got it years ago and it lay dormant. I was upset but did some research on it and found it to be very common...(and thats just the reported number of people)the only thing was that it is a pre cancerous condition(or should I say related to cancer) for us woman. Cervical cancer. I also researched this and found it to be a very slow growing cancer...but cancer none the less. Talking to my doctor made me feel a lot better. Maybe you should talk to your gyn. also make sure to get a pap every 6 months to a year. I would not end my relationship over this, he was honest with you obviously because he respects you.There is no easy answer...I could say use protection, but im sure one day you may entertain the thought of baring his children. Please research it as much as possible and talk to your gyn. Good luck to you, It is hard to find honest and caring mates, I would hate to see you lose this man that you care for so deeply. Kelly :o)
