I have had intense abdominal and urethal pain for many years. It was "diagnosed" as cystisis and no real treatment has ever been given. Last night I had more of this intense pain followed by passing what I think might be a kidney stone in the bathtub. I may have been passing them before and not noticed. I have saved the stone (red and black speckled, about 1/2 inch and round) but I am away from home in the usa right now... I live in Canada.. and will not be able to visit my dr until I go home ... prob 2 weeks to a month. Does anyone know if this sounds like a stone and if I would be in any danger? There has been some blood in my urine and stool and loss of appetite. The pain is not as intense now but is still throbbing somewhat on my right side. Can anyone offer any suggestions or shed light on what I might be experiencing? Thanks in advance.
