cervical dysplacia

In February I had a pap smear which revealed abnormalities. I had a colposcopy and four biopsies which revealed I had CIN 2 over a considerable area of the cervix. In March I had a LEEP procedure, which was said to have clearly removed all abnormal cells and considered very successful. At the end of April I had a PAP smear again which was clear. However, last week I had another and it wasn't good news. My doctor explained my history to the lab, and two pathologists rechecked the results - no change. Tomorrow I'm going in for another colposcopy, and I'm hoping the results won't be too bad although I am a little scared. I have been researching cervical dysplacia alot, and I learnt that it may come back again - and again. So I guess this means I will have to have regular check-ups and eat and live healthily. I am also concerned about my partner. When cervical dysplacia was diagnosed he went and had himself tested for all sexually transmitted diseases and was clear. However, seeing this is a virus and can return can I pass it on to him now or in the future? Is it dangerous or as dangerous in men? Also I have read in a few sites, that although condoms may help prevent the passing on of HPV, it can still be easily passed on seeing that the virus is in all the genital area. I may have to live with this for the rest of my life, but if I can avoid harming another I would obviously do all I can to try to prevent this. What have other sufferers done about this? Has anyone asked their doctors what to do? Or does the type of HPV that causes cervical dysplacia do nothing to men. I would really appreciate some answers as I am so worried.
