You might try the tiny plastic tear duct plugs that can be inserted by an optometrist specializing in dry eyes. Both my daughter and son in law have had wonderful success with the plugs, which allow the tears to wash up over the eyes, instead of draining out through the tear ducts too rapidly. Good luck!
