My podiatrist gave me an injection of Depo-Medrol in my hip to calm down the inflammation in my feet and hip. I currently have cronic Neuroma/neuritis in left and right foot, plantar fasciitis in my heels, and trochanteric tendonitis in my left hip. The hip pain developed from my compensating my weight to the left side of my body to accommodate the neuroma in my right foot. My question is: how safe is this drug depo medrol? Would you recommend this treatment for my current condition? What negative side effects can develop from this steroid drug?
