i too have hives. the doctor put me on benadryl and after awhile they went away.i try to steer clear of anything with yellow#5 dye.they seem to think that was part of the problem. then i got them again so the doctor put me on claritin and that helped so after awhile i went off claritin. they changed my blood pressure medicine and i broke out again so they put me on a different bp medicine andi'm taking alegra. so far it's working.my doctor said they could be triggered by heat or cold. charlotte.
