I know what you are goin thru. I have what I like to called adult onset hydrocephalus. Mine is the obstructive type though. The only thing offered as far as treatment was a shunt. Well I had it installed in May of 98 but it made every symptom worse so I had it taken out in Dec 98. I still have headaches on practically a daily basis. My neuro surgeon released me from his care cause he couldnt offer any further treatment. Be strong. There is nothing you can do for your dad at this point. Just love him and give all the time and attention you can for what time he has left. And take confomt in that fact that after he is gone is isn't suffering anymore.
