My brother was in a motorcycle accident over 9 months ago, and has still not regained much consciousness. He has suffered severe brain stem injury. One day he seems to be on the road to recovery and the next he seems to take so many steps back. Family tries to be there everday with him, but it has definitely worn on everyone.
