Hi Randy, I am sorry to hear your Mother hasn't been able to get rid of her pain from Polymyalgia. Normally, it responds very well to small doses of Prednisone. I wonder if she has been diagnosed incorrectly, or not given Prednisone. She needs to see a Rheumatologist for treatment, because they are more familiar with rheumatic diseases, since that is their specialty. With the right medicine, your Mother should respond well, and be back at living her life as usual. Good luck with your Mom. It is very kind of you to try to find a way for her to be less alone.
