Hi Staci, I am 43, and I have Huntingtons Disease. My entire paternal family had it, including my father, grandfather and all three of my uncles. If a parent has the disease, every child has a 50/50 chance of inheriting the gene. It just so happens, in my family, it is very prevalent. I don't know what kind of questions you have, but feel free to ask. I have been involved with HD for a long time. I found out a lot of information on the internet. There is a (Physicians Guide to Huntington's Disease) which is a great resource of information. If you contact your local HD support group, you should be able to obtain one.
