I too have cushing's syndrome as a result of high doses of steriods for asthma. I have a moon face, hump on my neck, thin fragile skin and have gained 65 pounds. I used to be an athlete and now I can't even walk. I have developed steriod induced adreanl gland insufficiency from the steriods. I cannot lose weight. The lowest dose of steriod I have been down to is 5 mg a day. My doctor assured me that once I am off the steriod, the cushing's symptoms will go away. I can't exercise too much because of the other condition. I am depressed over my looks and inability to exercise. Feel free to write back. Jan
