Hi.I know how you feel and it is frustrating. I have lupus and have been on high doses of prednisone for about2 years.There is nothing you can do about the weight until you are off of the drug. It makes you gain weight that will not come off until the course of prednisone ends.The only thing i am able to do is keep my diet under control.I eat a low fat diet to keep my blood pressure and cholesterol under control. Two other things that prednisone can cause to go sky high. Hang in there, it can be a tough road. Join the lupus fibro group on the computer. At least the others are also going through this nightmare.It is hard for others to understand what is going on with you.Good luck. Stay out of the sun as much as possible.it can hurt your thinning skin.
