I read your message and others like it here. My mother has emphysema and was trying to get into a new study, but the percentage ofoxygen in her blood was too low to get into the study. Aside from a transplant or lung reduction surgery, do you have any other recommendations to help with her quality of life? She will be increasing her steroid percentage in her inhaler, and using oxygen while exercising. Thanks, Frank
