I am 41 and have had psoriasis since I was 25. I have good luck with tar treatments and use kenalog spray. they both do well by me but I have had times when they are just not effective. You said when you were on chemo it helped. well , one treatment for psoriasis is chemo. I was taking low level doses of methatraxate (sp)and my ppsoriasis cleared up even my nails cleared.It is hard on the liver. You will need to do blood test to keep up with the levels of toxins in your blood and also need a biopsy once a year but it really does help.And it sounds worse than it is.I would take 3 pills once a week at the same time and thats it. good luck!
