why didn't his primary care doctor treat this disorder with acyclovir. Brand names zovirax or valtrex? this would have resolved the problem, and the pain. This would have also cleared up the problem. However after an attack the pain can often last for several months or even years. sometimes for the pain, they give neurotin. vitiam b-6 does help some with healing of the nerves. have you seen a dermatologist for treatement of this condition?
