Gulf War Syndrome / Illness/Silent Killer.

I too have similar symmptoms that are consistant with Chronich Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromialgia, among others. I did not serve in the Gulf, but served in Germany loading and offloading equipment from C-5 Galaxy Aircraft going to and from the Gulf from Rein-Maine airbase. I don't know if I received any contact with any contaminants during that time since we dealt with everything from tanks to tents and everything in between. I also had a lot of contact with people coming and going from the Gulf, and was processed for deployment twice, receiving all the shots and everything that was required for deployment, but was passed over both times to go. I have been suffering minor symptoms for the last 5 years, the most severe in that time being major depression. Withing the last year, I have started developing all the other symptoms, and at times don't hardly have the energy to get out bed, much less do anything else. I am trying to go through the VA to find out what is wrong, and it was my psychologist that originally suggested that it could be GWS. I have since filed a claim with the VA, but where it will go from there is anyones guess. I will try and let everyone know what comes from it. I have also decided to file for SSDI since I have lost my job and cant seem to find any other because of all the symptoms I have. Anyway... I just wanted to tell someone about this and just know that I am not alone. Thanks... Scott
