I have not had a Bunionectomy but I have had a tumor, and some toes shortened.....5 surgeries on one foot. My foot was swollen for years and the pain and problem still existed. The Podiatrist wasn't sure what to do with me....I didn't respond to normal treatment. I happened to hear about magnetic therapy and decided to give it a try.....I got some magsteps to wear in my shoes and amazingly the swelling went down to where I could put on a normal shoe! It has helped with the pain and I can walk without a limp. You chould check into those and see what happens.
