I was diagnosed with acid reflux one year ago and although i've been put on prilosec I still have trouble swallowing. My doctor told me that when it finally scarred me enough, I would have the surgery that wraps my stomach around my esophagus. It's really scarey when your food won't go down and it feels as though you're going to pass out because you can't catch your breath! I hate this. Beth Thomas
