I understand precocious puberty, but if I can make a suggestion... Lupron is a very serious drug that causes severe bone depletion. In a child that is growing and developing bone, I would have a real concern. Check out the National Lupron website to see the contraindications for using lupron and definitely discuss these issues with your doctor. Also, call 2 or 3 pharmacists and talk to them about Lupron. They typically know more about the medication than the doctors do. Hope that helps.
