my four year old son has verbal dyspraxia. it is law in the state of california where i live that when a child turns three that they could be tested for free at your local school district for any areas of concern. it is called "the early childhood intervention program." my son is currently seeing a speech pathologist through our local school district and is getting the help he needs, and i am getting the support i need in raising such a wonderful little boy. a good book to own is "Childhood Speech, Language, and Listening Problems: What Every Parent Should Know" by- Patricia McAleer Hamaguchi. remember your not alone.
