I have searched this website and have not found one mentioning of pelvic congestion although I have read about it in a magazine. I believe it is simply varicose veins of the pelvis. Much like varicose veins in the legs, there is cramping, pain, and also bloating seems to go along with it. I havent been diagnosed with this because most doctors have never dealt with it. Anyone who knows to the contrary, please let me know. The magazine article also mentioned a procedure where something was injected into the pelvic veins to relieve the contestion. If there is anyone who know of a doctor in St Louis that deals with this, e-mail me please. I have been dealing with this since my first pregnancy. There wasnt a name for it then in 1985.
