Hi, I also have scolosis. I had part of my spine removed and fours Harrington rods put in. I was in an auto accident and one of my rods was koocked lose as well as coming unscrewed. I had to have surgery to remove the messed up rod, but did not have to wear a brace. By the way, my scolosis,was a result of having neurofibromatosis. I am a 52 year old female, and had my surgery done at Atlanta's Henereitta Egleston's Hospital in 1963, by Dr. Warner Woods.
