I know that when my son was having lots of ear infections, they finally put him on a maintanence dose of antibiotics for an entire year.. and he never had trouble again. Basically the maintenance dose was just enough antibiotics in his system to kill even those sneaky remnants. Just a thought.. if it worked for him, it could work for others.
