Hi Becky. I have just been diagnosed with DVT for the second time in 2 years. I am a 44 year old male, and the doctors have no idea why this is happening to me. I had it in the left leg first, now the right leg. They, the doctors, put me on Heparin, when I entered the hospital, then started me on Coumadin, which I took for 6 months. I have not experienced anything that you ask about. Anxiety, or anything like that. I was taking 5 milligrams, then they cut it back to 5 one day, 2.5 the next day. Here I am, doing this all over again.
