My 8-month old granddaughter has just been diagnosed with leukodystrophy. She had severe colic for 4-5 months after birth, then was delayed in developing. She can not roll over or sit up on her own yet, but tries. She responds to stimulation and other children and is receiving speech and physical therapy. Is there any hope or medical breakthroughs that anyone knows about?This is a devestating diagnosis to the parents and the family. Is there any research facility she can be taken to. Please Help.
