I have dry eye syndrome & just participated in a dry eye research study testing a new treatment. The test was sponsored by Allergan. It used non-sterile cyclosporine eye drops. I had 13 dry spots in 1 eye & 15 dry spots in the other eye. After treament I have 1 dry spot in each eye. Prescription drops should be available in about a month. Ask your ophalmologist about the drops.Good luck. The treatment helps a lot -- at least it did help me. I still have problems on days with ozone warnings & wind form fans still bother me. But not as much.
