Please Help!! my husband was diagnosed in November of 99 with rheumatic fever. He had such awful migrating pains in his joints that he was surviving on vicadon. This pain has subsided for periods of time but always returns with a vengence. He is seeing a Rheumatologist who has diagnosed him with rheumatic fever or parvovirus. He is becoming depressed because there seems to be no end in sight. His job requires him to do physical labor and we have two small children ages 1 & 2. We are at wits end between all the medication and the vicadon. He is currently taking methotrexate and prendisone. Anyone out there have similar situation or advice? Please reply. Thank you
