Just had one. It is called various different names. It is a test that takes about l 1/2 hours. They put an IV in you and they take pictures of your gallbladder, then they inject you with something that makes your gallbladder contract so they can see if it is working properly. Doesn't hurt. It just was a pain being laid flat on a table for almost two hours. By the way, I had an ultra sound done, and abdominal x-rays done. The hydoscan was how they found out my gallbladder isn't working properly
