I have had gall bladder trouble and also currently have acid reflux problems. You can definitely tell if you have gall bladder problems, I have had pain that bad only one other time in my life. The gall bladder pain is on the right hand side around the bottom of your rib cage, and hurts straight into the back. It tends to hit in terrible bursts and then slow down for periods. What you said does sound like acid reflux. Did they give you any medication for it? Please mail me if you need more thoughts on the subject.
