I, too, had rheumatic fever as a child, and was bedridden for several months. Now, at age 62, after going to several specialishs, I have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer in the bone marrow white blood cells. Bone pain is a symptom of mm. Your scull is bone. I would suggest you consider having tests for white and red cell counts, and level of protein in your blood and urine. Good luck.
