I developed Tinnitus about six years ago and after seeing doctors, dentists, neuropaths, and trying everything anyone mentioned, I STILL have it. While I have "learned to live with it," I have a friend who has had it for about a year and is almost suicidal. We have read about two drugs that might help, but available only in Europe (over the counter there). They are Vinpocetine and Vincamin and we are trying to obtain through friends in England. Don't think there is anything that cure Tinnitus, but these drugs are supposed to restore the small hairlike cells in the ear that have been damaged, thereby getting rid of the Tinnitus. Has anyone tried either of these drugs?
